Let me start by introducing myself.... My name is Lucy and I've recently made some decisions in my life and taken on some new tasks so thought I'd keep track of my progress etc by starting a blog.

Firstly, I have decided that I'll definitely be leaving London and the UK for patures new (The US) in 2008. The original plan was to go on the 05.02.08 but as of Friday just passed I may be delaying this for a while longer as I have an interview tomorrow morning for a pretty good position on Harley Street which will help me save quite a bit more money (and with the current exchange rate for the dollar.....) so I have to wait until I get the job (positive thinking ) before I can work out a definite date to fly away to never, never land.

On top of this, within the last few weeks I have taken on the task of helping with the promotion for an up and coming band called Mitsubishi, after hearing how great they were there was no way I could say no to helping them get to the top. Ben is their manager and has been working on getting them some really good gigs over the last year or so and realised that he is going to need a bit more help so that's where I come in...... Obviously as it's my job to be their promotor then my blog is going to include variuos band things too.... I'm sure you won't mind too much after their second December gig as it's an All Dayer so I can imagine there's going to be a fair amount to talk about.

The 4 guys in the band are absolutely fantastic. They make the effort to hang around and talk to people, are completely down to earth and know how to have fun. As I'll be writing about them too then I may aswell introduce them to you all:

Vocals- Matt Warneford: Very smiley, energetic, fun guy with a heart of gold.
Guitar- Bruno Mattusi: Serious, quiet and a very nice guy. We had some good conversation while at the Half Moon gig.
Bass- Chris Dodman: Like Matt, Chris is also very energetic and likes to have fun in life.
Drums- Liam Thomson: Very likable, smiley Glasweigen with a big heart.

(I've kept this brief as you'll get to learn more with the blogs progress but one other thing I can add is that these guys are amazing musicians that work so well together.... they have had contact from EMI in New York already so it's definitely going to be an interesting journey)

Right, I think that's probably enough for today so I'll leave you with details for Mitsubishis next two gigs...... because that's my job .
